This week had some interesting things go down. The Freedom a rather "crappy" (I've fished it and it sucks) payboat was fishing San Clemente. Twelve anglers and picked up something like 80 yellows mid week. Another payboat got them as well. The total was well over 100 for both boats. As far as I'm concerned if the Freedom got them they must of been chewing the paint right off the boat. Closer to home a bunch of guys caught white seabass at Catalina this weekend. I've seen the post all over. Ithsmus had a bite along with a few frontside spots. On the backside the three V's was red hot both days kicking out jig fish in 100 ft of water. Crowded though. Drew H posted at his report at Allcoast. Seems he fished both days for numerous hookups. Topped by a triple on Iron the second day. The fish they did land topped forty. "Killer" Kid Creole. fished two hours on the frontside for a thirty. releasing several under that size. (must be nice). What can I say the guy is good.

I'd say hit Catalina if you can. The Clemente Bite is a lot more iffy. Several P'brs hit it this weekend for Nada.

Tight lines Jim
