If you haven't heard your probably not listening. The Threshers went off this weekend in Santa Monica Bay. I didn't fish for them this weekend but half a dozen guys I know from the web hooked up. JollyRoj picked up a 9 ftr off Redondo. Red Drum picked up another... 8 ft up north. While fishing local reefs near MDR he saw a number of hookups. His he hooked on 15lb fishing plastics. Their all just pups or maybe not.... All the landings were small fish under ten ft but several guys were nailed by what seemed to be much larger fish. If you want to hook one now is the time. Get out there.
