Several good threshers were taken from Oceanside this week. Top fish was caught thursday and topped out at over three hundred pounds. Several others in the hundred pound class were taken as well. Looks like its getting hot up and down the coast. A number of small fish were caught in Santa Monica Bay. Rumour has it that the big ones are in as well just no-one has hooked one with the proper gear. Additionaly the salmon guys up at Santa Barbra were hooking them as well. Lots of busted tackle up there.

Still early might be one hell of a season.

Tight lines Jim
