"Sat Albie, Dorado. Mako & Yellow Report!"
Posted by Mateo on Sep-19-99 at 09:15 AM Allcoast

Location: 10 10 Trench
h2o Temp: 62- 66

Seas: As good as they cab get!!!

We left at 1:00 on the Vessel "Hell Ya" out of Mission Bay heading South Southwest to the 10 10 Trench area. At first light we saw alot of paddies in the area so we pulled up on a few and chummed and tossed some lines in. WOw a quad hook up with 3 Doradoo and one Yellow. We continued to fish paddies jumping from one to the next tring our luck for limits of Dorado. We eventually had our limits for 3 anglers meself included~! With a dozen or so Yellows and proubly even another dozen released. So we finally made it to the 10 10 Trench area and limited out of Albies and caought 6 BFT and 3 YFT. On the way hoome we saw two makos in the water so we started to chum and whamo a hook up. We fought the shark for 1 1/2 hours until we decked it! 190# Mako South South West of North Island. The fishing was excellent and the sea conditions we great. Days like yesterday remind me why I am a fishermen and why I love the ocean so dearly.. Now why cant we just have more days like that more often!!!!!!!!
