Date Posted: 939236149PDT I can't help but comment on the photo posted at the top here.Turning this tuna loose with the hook imbedded in hopefully his jaw, and not his gut, with a foot of hanging leader is a lifetime torture for this guy. We carry an Accurate release stick on the boat at all times and use it for a "proper" release. Simply by snapping the leader inside the end of the release stick and pressing down any fish OR SHARK is released without the hook and leader. I applaud your intention of promoting release, but if we are going to educate the world wide web shouldn't we turn em loose "properly??" Don't mean to get your ire up, simply trying to get this release issue perfected to the attention of you insiders.
