Date Posted: 939373370PDT In reply to: Bad Dog 's message, "Release Photo-top of the page" on 939236149PDT I didn't put it up there to make any statement though I'm glad if it has that effect. I like it because it perfectly pictures a moment I just love. You can tell by the lighting that it's still early in the morning, a clear day probably just a little chill stil on the water. It's starting out a goog day because you already have hooked a decent fish he's at the boat. You've beat him but now your going to put him back. It's a gift: really that moment, and your about to give it back by cutting him lose. The boats in gear to keep the fish planed up. Your leaned well over the rail, holding the leader with the left hand. You place the wire in the dykes slide them down to the fish, then he's loose and you watch him swim away to color, then gone. I can't tell you how many times I've done this. Hundreds: and it's always such a great feeling, when you take a fish it's always kind of exciting but releasing almost is a loving thing. I've heard Kieth Poe says he pets his mako's. I'm not that far gone but I'll tell ya it always mkes me feel very good. tight lines Jim [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
