Date Posted: 940010314PDT In reply to: Jim Day 's message, "No whats the story?" on 939977876PDT Hiya!, The summer before last, a guy wade fishing was attack by a small shark....3' in length...estimated. I am guessing a blacktip or spinner. He was bit on the lower thigh area. The shark release him when it realize that it was not its normal prey. Questions brought to mind: 1) Did he catch the shark and it bit him during the fight or the release? 2) Was there large amounts of bait fish in the water? 3) How deep was the water he was in? 4) Did he have a stringer of fish or a bait bucket attached to him? If #1 was not a factor, then we must consider the other three questions. Also, the shark may had been curious. It never saw this before and decided to test it out. A sign of intelligences? 8-) It release its victim when realizing it was not its normal prey? Again, intelligences? 8-) The guy got some stitches and probally a bad additude towards sharks. I am glad that the media didn't throw the whole thing out of perportion. I actually only saw it on the news once. FISH ON!!, -BB- [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
