His almondated orbs shimmered with silent awe. He was amazed at the strength of the mares within the family. Pregnant they may be, but futile they were not! He watched as many ran - heavy in foal - at top speeds....stopping only when they felt it was needed. Their breathing hardly a plausible element. He 'smiled' to her with a quaint whicker & went to her side. Delicately raking his grinders through ivory coat of her in an attempt to release her tension & anxiety...*
