*the bay lifts her head, giving the stallion a loud and recieving whinny, she tosses her mane, dark eyes vividly brillent, glad she was now under the protection of a stallion, the road had been long and she had protected her mother in her time of need and would continue to do so, although some of that responsiblity was shared with steed, arching her neck she strides towards him, then abruptly throwing her weight back, balancing on hind legs before him, tossing her head, eyes playful, then lowering herself to the ground again, moving towards her dam, there was nothing stud could do for the older, her heart was broken*


*the older mare looks to the young stallion, her eyes dull, she wanted no part with him, she had lost her previous stallion and cared for no other, there would be no peace for her broken heart, muzzle drops to just above the sweet blades of grass, but she moves not to eat, merely stands there, staring into the distance*
