Well happy New Year everyone. Ah you tube. The Wine Stewart was actually a pilot for a show I put together with some friends quite a few years ago. Somehow it was on youtube locked and became unlocked then wound up here.I wont go into the travails of what occurred when it was actually pitched in LA suffice to say the show was ahead of its time but not quite enough to save it from being summarily ripped off. Showbiz can sometimes be cruel to the naive and lets just say many invaluable lessons were learned from that experience by yours truly . There are not, will not ,be any future episodes of The Wine Stewart unless the current overabundance of talking wine heads suddenly leave the internet. Or someone with a large bankroll decides to resurrect it. The travails of putting that show together however did inspire me to write "Bunches",a dramedy pilot, which parodies that whole situation and which I will hopefully publish or actually shoot at some future point. The Wine Stewart was a great exercise for myself and the friends who were instrumental in helping me put it together. Glad those of you who saw it were entertained. Love on ya best for 2011 Stewart

As I was perusing the classics shelf at the library today, I saw an interesting video series called "visits from a vineyard," published in 2004 and all I could think of was.....wait a minute....didn't Stewart do that already??? HA!

Guess someone ripped off your idea, as most people in showbiz these days do.
