Hmph. No snow day for us.
Though the roads were downright scary to drive on last night (lots of wrecks all over town from people sliding), they still opened school. Now, I'm not a weenie when it comes to snow because I'm from the snowglobe that is the northeast, but they are terrible at clearing the roads where I live in southwest MO and it's very unsafe to drive on some of the side streets.
It also doesn't help that the superintendent of the public schools is from New Hampshire and that means school is hardly ever canceled. I guess it's just annoying when all the surrounding towns are out of school for the day, but we're not.
Oh well. It's a good hot chocolate and candle kind of day!

6 inches here in northern MS! It's such a special treat for us that the kids built 3 snowmen!
