Breathtaking! I've been to Tucson and I wish I had seen a sight like that when I was there!

I'm glad you liked it Jenn! :)

Navajo Prayer ...
"Beauty is before me, And beauty is behind me. Above and below me hovers the beautiful. I am surrounded by it. I am immersed in it. In my youth I am aware of it, And in old age I shall walk quietly 'The Beautiful Trail'..."

Cree Indian Proverb ...
"Only when the last tree has died and the last river been poisoned and the last fish been caught; will we realize we cannot eat money."

The Native American Indians had no monetary system and no concept of property ownership...

I had forgotten how beautiful the sunsets are out west. When I lived in Mexico, the sunsets would light up the skies like rolling flames in a fire. Totally unbelievable!

This May, I get to shoot a wedding in Phoenix so the fam is going to drive that way for the wedding and do a bit of sight seeing up at Flagstaff, Tuscon, and the WHOLE three drive drive back.

When Joanna looked at the map, she said, "Oh, its only 26 hours. We can do that in a little over a day." All I could do was laugh and tell her that we do need to sleep sometime.

Now, Joanna wants to know how much farther it is to California as it is "Only" a state away. After driving three days, I don't think Tim will be driving another two to California. :)

Thanks for sharing the pic. I had forgotten how stunning it all is.

You're welcome! :)
I'd say that's "very cool" to receive business referrals that far away from "home base" Cath! ...
- you must be a "mighty fine" photographer to receive a personal request from that distance?!
- definitely quite a drive from GA!
It's good that you can make a family vacation out of the trip as well though!

You sure know how to capture my imagination.
Just take a little serendipity, add a bit of a sunset and stir with a bit a Native wisdom.

I finally feel as though I'm emerging from my winter cocoon.
I actually worked outside the last two days, cutting down nettles and blackberries mostly, Around here, things grow so quickly that they begin devouring the yard if you're not careful. There is a probability of snow later in the week and we had a smattering a couple of days last week. That is only because the bulbs are trying to emerge.
