Subject: kinda odd - but, kinda cool

Every so often, some "words" will come to my mind with which I'm unfamiliar ...
and, a lot of times it will happen very early in the morning ...
when I first awaken - getting ready to begin my day!
This morning? ...
it was "pekintas"! :)

Now, I had no clue in the beginning as to the correct spelling - so, whenever that happens ...
I "sound it out" phonetically.

When I began to "search" for "pekintas" ...
*** believe it or not it's an actual word?! :)
... I found that in some areas of the globe - the word "pekintas" is associated with roofing materials.

As you know ...
I kinda like quotes ?! :)
*** to put it "mildly"! :P
So, I began to search through the ones related to "rooftops" ...
and, it took me on an "interesting" journey!
*** at least I think so?! :)

btw, today - 10-17-2010- is "Atohuna" ...
the day in which the Cherokees honor, renew, and restore friendships! :)

anyways ...
the following post includes some quotes I found along the path I traveled this morning ...
