Subject: Drooling, etc.

Seasons Greetings to all!!

I am the bearer of great news!! I can drool! Well, let me qualify that, I have to cover the keyboard with plastic.

(remember that I didn't start this drooling bit...!!!)

I do have a question or two if I may...your bio says you live on a ranch, if I may ask, is it a working ranch with animals or crops? A couple of my staff are "farmers", meaning they must now work full time and part time jobs with the farm being second fiddle in order to just keep the land. The second question is if you have vines or is that just through your 4 Vines position, and how did you become interested in the winery?

Nah! The other parts are back on the desk, just the key board, the mouse is wireless and is safe! Thanks for asking and maybe I'll borrow a bib!!

Well since I have a laptop I'd have to cover my whole computer since the keyboard is attached. lol The bib is a great idea, though.

Before I leave for the day ...
study for the last two of my final -finals ...
and, finally ...
turning in my FINAL essay for the semester ...
I feel that I must "speak out" in regards to this topic Janet! :)
For I am greatly concerned that I myself may have been "labeled" or "type-cast" - in times past - as a "drooler" ?!
And, I take great exception to that! :)

As a means of clarification ...
I have Never ...
I repeat ...
NEVER, in "all my born days" ***

*** let's see ...
I'm 5 months past the 53rd "mile marker" ...
including 12 - some odd - additional days for those years requiring a "leap" ...
that calculates to 'round about 19,500 days total (give or take a few) ...
in which I have never, ever ...
"drooled" ...
over any guy! :)

however,
I do have a vague recollection of ...
traveling over 3000 miles ...
round trip ...
by "air" ...
boarding six different airplanes ...
running through 2 or 3 major airports ...
attempting to catch several flights ...
and, on more than one instance ...
upon reaching the gate ...
discovering ...
a majority of those flights ...
had been delayed! :)

Then ...
being subjected to a "pat down" ...
by a female security officer ...
before boarding my final flight (destination -Santa Barbara, San Simeon and Paso Robles, CA! :)
because I was wearing a "hoodie" ...
and ...
in her estimation ...
I "appeared" to be on of those "types"! :)
*** Did I mention that I'm an NOT a "fan" of air-travel?! :)

Yes, I've always wanted to visit CA ...
and, in 2010 one of my goals was to travel from the east coast to the west coast ...
desiring to see the sun rise on the Atlantic, and the sun set on the Pacific! :)
And, that goal was accomplished!

My primary incentive ...
I must admit ...
was another quest which began almost three years ago!
You see, although I'm not a "drooler" ...
I am a "dreamer" ...
and ...
there was this one guy I had been wanting to meet ...
"face to face"!
And, as "fate" allowed - one of my "dreams" actually came true! :)

Yep, for about an hour or so ...
I do admit having sort of a "fixed gaze" upon said indiviudal as my friend "Lou" and I visited with him at a winery located near the central coast of CA.
But, never once did I "drool" ! :)

btw, on the way back home ...
did I mention ...
upon landing in TN ...
I realized that somewheres along the way ...
on the final flight from Los Angeles to Nashville ...
I had broken two teeth, and later a third one began to abcess?!
Second only to my "fear of flying" is a visit to the dentist?!
Yet, all in all - if given the chance - I'd probably do it all over again! :)
