Subject: What a week!

Wow! What a week! Let's see....
• Made it to Yosemite, took lots of pix
(Ate a bug! Yuck!)
• Drove from Sonora to Paso Robles and couldn't help but think of
the famous Mexican bandit, Joaquin Murrieta. He was either an
infamous bandit or a Mexican patriot, depending on one's point of
view. Joaquin, was said to have been the protoype for "Zorro" and
was supposedly beheaded by a band of Americans and the head
was placed in a jar and placed on exhibition. Years later, his sister
insisted it was not his head and that the Americans had ceased to
capture him.

Out of the night,
When the full moon is bright,
Comes the horseman known as Zorro.
This bold renegade
Carves a "Z" with his blade,
A "Z" that stands for Zorro.

Zorro, Zorro, the fox so cunning and free,
Zorro, Zorro, who makes the sign of the Z.

He is polite,
But the wicked take flight
When they catch the sight of Zorro.
He’s friend of the weak,
And the poor and the meek,
This very unique senor Zorro.

Zorro, Zorro, the fox so cunning and free,
Zorro, Zorro, who makes the sign of the Z.

Zorro, Zorro, Zorro, Zorro, Zorro.

Joaquin, I tip my hat to you. I loved you when I was eight, and I love you today.

• I MET BC We had major adventures together!
• I learned to drink red wine and it was actually much smoother and
more subtle that I ever imagined it would be. Not surprisingly, I
think I liked "Heretic" the best with I think "Peasant" or Monarchy"
a close second. Nope, guess I liked those little chocolaty things
that went along with the wine the best. Nope, wrong again, I
thoroughly believe it is the server who made a real difference!
• BC took me out to Moonstone Beach. We had a lovely dinner (she
the salmon, I the sea bass.)
• Came back to the room and talked until 2AM.
• Attended the Mid California Fair. (MIssed Justin Beiber by a hair!)
• Drove back out to the ocean because I'd never been to Morro Bay.
• Took BC out for her first Crab Louie. I feel as though I have a
possible Northwesterner in training.

All in all, this trip has scored a 9.7 on my Reichter Scale. It pays to follow my "gut" and just go for it.

Hmmm BC is sitting on the bed near the window. Wonder what she's writing!?!

Lou

You two remind me of ying and yang. Or at least from your posts you do. Different and yet synonomously harmonious.

So glad you got to fulfill both of your dreams, though I won't tell the kids---they will be soooooo jealous to hear that you got to meet him and they haven't!

Though I had to admit, with all of my instructing them this year that SFM is just another man, like any man who just happens to have a job of acting, I think they see him more as an uncle now. And less as a heart throb-"WHEW!"

Just don't tell Josie he has chest hair. She has only seen a few captions of the tv series and so has definitely NOT seen 6ftunder.

She watched New Moon recently and was all bug eyed that Jacob had no hair on his chest and Edward did. She made this hysterically wierd scrunched up face and said, "Yuk! Why does Bella like that kind of stuff!"

HA! HA! HA! HA! I had to laugh. She is young, and I am glad----still immature. I hope she stays that way about 20 more years longer.

I am so glad your trip went well!!! The kids are still working on your package Laura. We haven't forgotten about you. :) Just getting the perfect stuff from GA to send you.
