Now I have two quick questions: 1) Does a wizard have to die inorder to get his powers advanced? 2) What are the other levels of wizard? I Gknow white and gray are on top, but what are the other 3, I've been guessing reen, Blue and Red, but I'm not sure.

the order (on the top of my head, only the 3 first im sure) from most powerful to least:
The White, The Grey, The Brown, The Blue, the Red

The White is always the leader of the order, however, Since Saruman broke his oath (Never try to dominate the People of Middle Earth, Never serve the forces of Evil) he was thus frowned upon by the divine powers that created and sent the wizards. When Gandalf (who is second in power in the order) died, he went back to the plane he came from, and was sent back on Middle Earth, with more power, and given leadership of the order, thus he grew in rank and became Gandalf the white

Forgive my stupidity but what are the Huorns?

Huorns used to be Ents, however, they became "tree-like" (ie: stopped moving, took roots and slowly took more tree like apperance) Huorns are many, hundreds if not thousands. They hate Orcs and Axes, but do not hate Saruman per say, and unlike ents, they are VERY aggressive and hasty, they will kill anything that harms them or harms a tree. Huorns are IDENTICAL in appearance to trees. and in the battle of Helms Deep, they are the reinforcements that Gandalf Brings (all the orcs and rohirims see is a forest that seems to have appeared in the plain. orcs flee in the "forest" in fear of the riders and Gandalf, only to be killed before reaching the other side.
