spoke very clearly, laid out the facts and his rationale, and certainly seemed far from a madman. he doesnt want world war three any more than you do, but this mook in Iraq isn't exactly leaving too many other options. but hey, let's stay out of it and let him continue developing weapons of mass destruction. your probably one of those detached west coast types who dont realize how real it all becam when ny and dc got hit. might as well have been somalia or some faraway place you coudnt find on a map.

other posts have covered other countries reasons for disagreeing. as for whats our business i agree sometimes that blurry line gets blurrrierer but i think in this case it is our business. i cant sepak for the us making an ass of itself in un meetings; havent been to those, maybe you have.

12 years man....we arent exactly "rushing" into a war.

so to reiterate:

Bush, not the best speaker, not the idiot sour critics make him out to be, not a madman

War, good for absolutely nothing unless its to preserve peace. thats what you call a paradox.

Hussein, dangerous dictator guy making us and the rest of the world look like fools for years in a nation that's only been in existence since after WWII. i hope he complies after Thursday's speech. I'm sure our government does too. just dont think anyone is holding their breath based on persedent....

peace.
