The surrounding enemies of Israel will continue to be her enemy until Israel is gone or they are gone or something else interferes...I know not what.

As for UN resolutions...it just goes on to prove my point that the UN as it currently stands is near useless body. 5 permanent members have the power to veto anything that crosses to be voted on. Back with the problems in Yugoslavia, Russia kept saying they would veto anything that mentioned attacking Yugoslavia. That was helpful since Milosivic was doing some evil stuff in there. Or how about the resolutions against Russia regarding Afghanistan...get out they kept saying. Or against the US and Quantanimo...get out they kept saying. No one listens. The UN just doesn't have the power to enforce their resolutions and the fact that 5 powers formed back in the late 40's are the ones deciding things, it makes things even more useless.
