Actually, from the beginning I was hoping for USA vs anybody, but when the semifinals wer set I was hoping for Turkey-South Korea. Both have fledgling ties with my denomination. We've now got a few house churches in Turkey and our seminary routinely has a large contingent of Korean students. On top of that, this has been a World Cup where Europe and South America's strangehold has been weakened by the rise of teams from North America, Africa and Asia and it would have been neat to see a Middle Eastern team and an Oriental team go for the final. And on top of that, I always kinda root for the host team. Oh well, I have nothing against Brazil or Germany.
