Aaah yes... I believe that stupid people were placed on this Earth for the amusement (and unfortunately at times, the frustration) of intelligent people. ;p

Being a teacher, I work with other people of above average intelligence, so I cannot say that I've ever encountered memorable moments of gross stupidity with my colleagues. Students on the other hand is another story.

I'd be here all day repeating the anecdotes of all the incredibly stupid things that high school kids do and say. But here's a fresh one from just yesterday -- year eight class. I asked the class, "what is the capital of China?" and one kid yells out, "Japan!" -- even though we were all staring at a map of Asia where I had labelled China and Japan in two separate colours on an overhead transparency, and for the last half hour or so, I'd been talking extensively about historical contacts between China, Japan and Okinawa. *rolls eyes*
