It's just kind of difficult to organize them this early in the morning, but I will give it a shot! ;)

Yes, much to the dismay of Aristotle and Einstein, I do believe it is true. I've seen it work with friends and family, I’m sure that none of us are completely immune to this onslaught of disinterest in things that once seemed to be common knowledge. It appears that with every generation we loose a little something that society needed desperately to function back when our grandparents were our age. I was having a conversation about some of these situations just a few weeks ago, and after little to no debate, it was determined of our discussion that if they had to, several people couldn't get along without electricity today. I know that I have encountered instances like those cited by P2 and Goktimus, but I can't think of any right now. But like FawnDoo and P2 said, I do know several people who could rattle off every one of the members of many bands before they could tell you who the president who preceded Clinton was. I also know of sundry others who couldn't tell you an eggplant from a zucchini either. And just recently, we were set to do an art project for one of my classes. I told someone about this, and to my shock and amazement they replied with a comment like "Leonardo Di Vinci...what did that guy do again?" 0.o; Dear Lord, help us.

Kudos!
~NOVA~
