Not in the United States, no. On the right, you've got you're right-wing religious nuts who think George W. Bush will make this nation a "Christian" nation once again, and uber-patriots for whom the United States can do no wrong. On the other side, you've got a left that has morphed into a very vile and hateful group, who are making plans to punish those who voted "wrong"--people in rural areas and evanglical Christians--and effectively freeze them out of the editorial process, and for whom the phrase "secular Taliban" was invented to describe. Each side accuses the other of being narrow-minded, bigotted, childish and just plain mean. They're both right.
