I looked over the pictures again, and there is a bit of a resemblence to Spike. Though part of me still thinks that it's not Sparkplug since Sparkplug didn't seem like the type of guy who would want to have innocent people killed by terrorist.

Just a thought, could it have been Megatron himself who asked one of the crewmembers to do this. Or might this be someone who worked on the ship and was supose to go into space but didn't?

Think about it. Megatron hated Prime so much that he wouldn't want to be caputred and taken back. So I suspect that he could have talked one of the members into doing this and promising him something in return. Only the thing is that Megs didn't keep his end of the bargan, and when the ship blew, Laz figured that he didn't keep his promise. Could it be that Laz actually was able to fit Megatron in his pocket? After all, Megs srinks down to a Hand gun, and he could possible shrink even more so that Laz could have taken him off ship with him?
