I already have it reserved on my standing order.

I'm still remaining skeptical though... I'm not that terribly impressed with Pat Lee's previous work and I'm even less impressed with the colouring flubs I've seen in their promotional art for the comic so far.

Not to mention that US Transformer comics tend to suck, save the latter half of the G1 and entire run of G2 comics, since it was mostly created by British artists.

Still, I'll pick up the comic for better or worse and give it a go... but I must admit that I don't have too many high expectations for this book. It seems to be targetted at 80s nostalgia Transfans (the kind of people who don't really look at any Transformers beyond 1987) rather than real hardcore fans.

I mean, Rumble is BLUE FFS!! WHY?!?!?! -- and don't even talk to me about that khaki Astrotrain...
*falls on ground and rakes eyes out with fingers*

...but for the first time ever, Soundwave will be BLUE in a US TF comic! WHOA!

With such a poor track record of terrible colouring in the US TF comics, I often wonder if it'd be best if they just published the whole thing in b/w. It'd make the comics cheaper for one thing... and I wouldn't have to gauge my eyes out as much.
