I didn't care all that much for the G2 series, and while you can find many pre Furman-Senior/Wildman books to back your generalizatrion "US Transformer comics tend to suck", theres a lot of good stufdf there too. Shockwave kicking ass in the first year, that beautifully painted issue #5, Ratchet and Blaster shining, Circuit Breaker, etc....and while we suffered thoguh the mechanic and thje carwash of doom, Furman DID give us Matrix quest...did you READ that Moby Dick chapeter?

Now I haven't read ANY of the UK continuity so I can't make a fair comparison...i kno there's a site i saw trhat has some scanned in, so maybe i'll take a look...

Except fotr the toy, Rumble was blue in every continuity, no? anyway...
