Subject: TRU exclusive Convoy/Galvatron set

This is for those curious as to how Hasbro handles the US release of Superlink Galvatron and deluxe Convoy.

Both are packaged together for $25 as "Powerlinx Optimus Prime" and "Megatron". The text on the sticker reads, "1st North American release of this unique scale!" and "Optimus Prime forms Powerlinx combinations with other deluxe Autobots! (see back)". They're in the New Powerlinx Battles style box(early eBay protos had an older type box design). Each is in robot mdoe with a separate instruction sheet.

Megatron is near identical to Galvatron. They did not use overstock though. The painted text on the tank's battery cover is gone and Hasbro copyright info is molded onto the left wing. No other changes I could see.

Megatron would have been a $20 toy on its own(or even $25, given the wings), and Prime $10. I think this is the first TRU exclusive anything to actually be underpriced.
