Transformers Armada has finally arrived in Australia.

I have seen MiniCon packs, Deluxes, Laserbeaks and Ultras.

So far the only place I've seen them is my local K-Mart (Chirnside Park), but I'm sure that will change within the week.

Here's a breakdown of what I saw:

MINICONS - $14.95 each
1X Air Defense Team
2X Land Military Team
1X Street Action Team (I want these cute li'l guys!)
1X Race Team (this was a surprise since it's a wave 2 set)

DELUXE - $24.95 each
1X Hot Shot
1X Demolishor

ROLE-PLAY $26.95 each
4X Laserbeak (Man, this thing really is tiny!)

ULTRA - $56.95 each (I think)
3X Megatron

As you can see, this is just a tiny trickle before things really start to get going. Like I said, I want those Street Action MiniCons and if I can get Cyclonus to combine with the Destruction Team I'll be pretty happy, but apart from those whims I'm not bursting at the seams to buy all these toys. They all look pretty neat (especially the very nicely detailed Demolishor), but none of them really fire me up to say "Iwannitnow!".

I have to say I was far more excited by RID, but I'm sure after Christmas those MiniCon packs will be calling me.

In other news the rumor about an Armada Unicron being up for pre-order seems pretty cool. I wonder if they'll think to pack him with three MiniCons named Hook, Line and Sinker?
