Cavern of Courage wasn't the Star Wars Holiday Special, it was the first Ewok movie. The Star Wars Holiday Special was called just that, the Star Wars Holiday Special. It involved the Star Wars buddies all trying to get Chewbacca through an Imperial blockade and home for a Wookiee holiday called Life Day. After getting Chewie home to his family we are forced to sit through 90 minutes of unsubtitled Wookiee howling and various variety show style segments including the infamous Boba Fett animated bit.

The Star Wars Holiday Special was incredibly bad, but it does have a few items of interest that are right up there on the Armada Convoy Sad-O-Meter.

- We hear Darth Vader use the word "household"

- Mark Hamill had only just recently gotten plastic reconstructive surgery after a car accident, so he's bone white all through the show and doesn't blink once for 90 minutes!

- Chewie's father watching Wookiee porn.

- No freakin' subtitles for 90 WHOLE MINUTES!!!!

- Freakishly bad Wookiee outfits that look like they were made from brown shag carpet and pubic hair.

- Carrie Fisher singing lyrics to the Star Wars theme music -- VERY VERY badly.

- Carrie Fisher stoned off her tree.

and finally...

- Golden Girls star Bea Arthur as a singing cantina wench.
