I read somewhere that Armada is supposed to exist in the "original continuity", like the G1-G2 stuff. And didn't Season 3 of G1 take place in 2010? I know the movie took place in '05, but what about the rest?

Incidently, I think it would work better as a continuation from RiD, and as noted before, it could give them some leniencey(sp, it's late here) towards the release of Scourge and Fort Max, should they go through with it...
