Technicaly the Yamoto Valkyrie is actualy slightly more accurate to Shoji Kawamori's designs than the Toycom one, the bar which replaces the Yamotos removable legs while improving the transformation, makes the nosecone look less acurate to the way they are in the animation, in which said bar did not exsist. Also from what can be seen in the photos the Yamoto appears more detailed and slightly more accurate to Kawamori's drawings.

Personaly I'm tempted by both, but not sure wether I will get either. IMO the biggest thing detracting from the fun/playability of the toys is the price,at 100+ AUD one can't help but fear for the toys safety whenever you (or heaven forbid) someone else touches it.

Seems like the sort of toy you worship in the box and whisper My precious!
