Hehehe... a fair question, but why didn't you ask me earlier? I mean, I'll answer any question if I'm asked, but I don't say a word if I'm not.

Anyhoo, "Amy Chasing Clerk" is a contraction of two movie titles "Clerks" and "Chasing Amy", both written and directed by my favorite writer Kevin Smith.

Amy was a character mentioned in "Chasing Amy", but she has not appeared on film. She was once the girlfriend of Silent Bob (portrayed on film by Smith, himself) but when he found out about Amy's past relationships Bob broke up with her. At the time Bob didn't understand that Amy's past experiences with men helped to shape the woman he fell in love with. By the time he figured out that in a relationship you always should put the individual ahead of their actions it was too late to mend the breach between them, and Amy had moved on. Ever since then Bob has been chasing Amy, so to speak.
