I'm glad you guys are getting them in Australia. I was relieved when they finally showed up here in the US. Hopefully it's a good sign that Hasbro down-under is going to give you guys all the mainstream RiD stuff, and it'll only be a hassle for you to get the exclusives like Super Scourge and Megabolt Megatron.

Incidentally, when you do get them, I'd be interested in hearing how they compare to the Car Robots versions (If you have them). My brother got me the Car Robots Super Speedbreaker after Amazon.com canceled my order for Super Sideburn, and I was able to compare. And this was my take...

When I fist got him, my first thought was, as usual, how much nicer the Car Robots individual packaging was compared with the generic packaging Hasbro has given us for both RiD and Beast Machines. But then I opened him.

I then noticed the somewhat sloppy paint job, especially around the face. It wasn't the worst I've ever seen, but it was far inferior to either version of Sideburn. Then there was the joints. They were quite loose. Not quite limp, but enough to make it difficult to pose the figure with his weapons, or even to stand it upright on a table. I had to tighten some screws, but it only helped a little. Finally, I transformed it. The loose ball joints caused some pieces to pop out, especially the front fender. The excessive paint also made it difficult for the halves of the hood to come together properly.

Now Super Sideburn's paint seemed much neater. But even in the RiD version, there's still a lot more paint then in the original version. The same is true for Super X-Brawn. Super Prowl on the other hand, has a lot less then on the original. But the paint job seemed a lot more uniform, and I had no problem getting the pieces together when I transformed him. His joints were also much tighter, and I had no problem with posing him. In short, I found Super Sideburn a big improvement of Super Speedbreaker.

What do any of the rest of you who have both toys think?
