Subject: Why did they change Starscream's colors?

With the new Armada toys I have one quick question to ask of all. Why is it that they are changing Starscreams Colors? I always thought that it was funny that he was Red white and blue, and the exact same as Prime, only he was a traitor (and I mean that in a good way) to the rest of the Decepticons. Is there a reason for the black and red scheme?

AlsoL,(and this is more cartoon related than anything else) Why is it that he never locked Megatron in a box when he was in gun mode? As odd as it sounds, if Megs couldn't transform to a larger size, and couldn't move to transform, Starscream could have had all the power he wanted. So why didn't he?
