I'll bet that you even remember the old Clifford "formula" that was used in the ads of the late 70's..

Back in '79, a few buddies at a shop that I worked at, threw together a little '67 Camaro with a .60 over 292 inline six. We used an early Clifford intake flanged for a Holley 650CFM carb, added a Clifford header and an early Marvin Miller v-8 based nitrous oxide kit. The engine was completely stock with an unported head, cast crank, cast pistons, and stock valve-train. Results? First run was a 12.72 @ 109mph in an all steel body, full interior car with a 3.73:1 rear gear! The crude nitrous system leaned and grenaded the motor after five runs, but it was fun while it lasted... Ahhh, the good 'ol days..
