Subject: Brede Johannesen

Brede Johannesen left for America on May 16, 1879 from Oslo. He gave his residence as Brandvold Soler. On December 31, 1889 he married Julia Anna Wallem in Leland, LaSalle County, IL, USA. His name was spelled Brede Johnson at that time. He listed his place of birth as Kongsvinger, Norway. He listed his parents as John Bredesen and Elise Johansen.

I've searched the 1865 census for Hedmark and cannot find Brede or his parents. I am hoping to find enough information about the family to see if there is any bygdebok information about them. Any help would be very much appreciated.
