Skavang på Nes er omtalt i Nes Bygdebok, andre bind, del 1, side 345.
Om Peder Oudensen Skavang står det kun at han var døpt 1722 og levde 1734.
Peder hadde 7 søsken og et halvsøsken.
Peders søsken, foreldre og endel forfedre er omtalt.
