If i were you'd i'd talk to the teachers, explain what you are seeing and ask them what they are seeing in him. Chances are that they will have noticed something too. I know my child is younger and the problems were a lot more obvious but it wasn't till we had a meeting with the teacher that he got his testing . I dont' know where you are and how it works there but talking to the teachers will at least give you an idea of if there is a real problem and what the possibilities may be.
