Absolutely have had the same issue with my son who was diagnosed with dyslexia in 1st grade (now in 4th). Same issue as yours, when timed he fails to finish or even halfway finish, but when not under the pressure of time, he literally finishes it and usually no mistakes. My son's school saw this and works with him gladly. You have to keep after your school, keep making waves. This is normal for children with dyslexia and they should not be penalized for it. Hope things get better!!
