You will be told repeatedly he is too young. My son was too at that age. Finally at 8 I am starting to make headway into getting help but still a battle. Keep a close eye on things and constantly keep in contact with the school. Keep evidence, as much as you can, as it will come in handy. A lot of kids with dyslexia are very smart and able to disguise it so there report cards/academic acheivement look good.

If more and more signs start coming keep track of it.

It may not be anything and he might correct it but he may not. I was told it would get better and it never did 3 years later and I am still battling to get him help at school. I hope it all works out
