Thats quite a story.

Its a shame that so many people have to spend major chunks of their lives compensating for our goofy spelling 'system'.

It is estimated that the English speaking nations of the world collectively spend 300 billion dollars annually due to the disorganization of the spelling.

Considering your story, I think its likely to be much higher than that!

Have you thought of becoming a freelance tutor? I can send you a sample of a chart that you could use to easily teach dydlexics to read.

In case you didnt notice, the names of the people posting here are links to email them. I didnt see anything that tells us this, so no surprise!
