Hi, you should speak the teacher who can get your daughter assessed. My son was assessed last year when he was 7. At that time he had a reading ability of a 4 yr old . Now after getting help in school with one on one classes every wk he had really improved. He has recently been reassessed and his reading is now up to the average for his age . He can now read fluently and has greatly improved his writing and spellings. He's also a lot more confident .
