I watch a DVD last month called "Like stars on Earth" (Taare Zameen Par) Produced and Directed by Aamir Khan you can get this DVD on Amazon but would need a multi regional DVD player to play it if in UK. A very moving story of a boy with dyslexia in India. The teacher who ultimately helps this boy is a art teacher. I advise you to watch it, you may be pleasently inspired.

I have 3 dyslexic children who excel in creative and imagination, while growing up their breaks from school where filled with paint, paper macha, cloth, chalk, clay, anything we could pick up on our walks. We also did plays and script writing, the list was endless of what they produced. Trips to the art gallery or sculpture park after is always inspiring after they have created their own master piece. I wish you every success.
