In reply to: Bal 's message, "Dyslexsic question" on 05:54:33 06/13/11 Mon

this kind of question is in a form that is hard to address. the first thing i would do is remove the 'and' and 'or' clauses. you then will have four questions:

1) can prior learning positively impact on dyslexic students to retain information?

2) can repeated learning positively impact on dyslexic students to retain information?

3) can prior learning positively impact on dyslexic students learning process?

4) can repeated learning positively impact on dyslexic students learning process?

then look at 'can', which just a 'yes' or 'no' question. you may want to ask 'how much' (a quantitative question) or 'how' (a qualitative question).

then look at the constructs. what do you mean by 'dyslexic students'? what age? what severity? etc. what do you mean by 'prior learning'? how will you measure 'positively'? what is a 'learning process'? what kind of information are they trying to retain? for how long?

after you clarify these points, the question will become much clearer and easier to address. i hope you repost it here when you are ready for more suggestions.
