Does your child's teacher know this is how it is for you? Make an appointment to meet with the teacher and talk through your difficulties. The teacher should then modify what is required for your child in the homework that is set. If this is not a satisfactory arrangement then make an appointment to talk to the principal or go higher than that. You do not have a recipe for success if the experience is so awful for you and it will not be good for your child either. Are you able to join any local support groups for children with learning difficulties?
