Dyslexic children can often have difficulties with some motor skills such as handwriting and also typing. It could also mean he may have dyspraxic tendancies which could lead to the same problem.
I would suggest a multisensory touch typing program - Touch Type Read and Spell is excellent because it is multisensory, and based on a structured cumulative spelling program as well. It is uite expensive though! Could also try Nessy Fingers or EnglishType!
