Maybe the teacher will allow your daughter to show up to class before and after school so to first get a jump on assignments and then have more time to complete. What your daughter may not complete she can take home as homework and you can work on it as well.

The good news is that your daughter is at a very low level of education, which should make it easy for you to understand the subject and help. At the same time you can through trial and error use the time to find what does work with your daughter so over time she will catch up.

Just like you said it is one thing to help in a manner to were your basically doing to work, and it is a whole different thing to help in a way so to help guide your daughter in a manner so she and you both learn what skills, approaches, methods, study, learning, problem solving and test taking techniques will assist her best as a student.

Over time you should be able to develop more and more gold nuggets which will make school easier and easier for your daughter.
