After watching a movie that upset me (see my post above) it struck me that we're not thankful enough our situation in life either. I know at times I've felt bad and had good reason to but after watching that movie, I started thinking that it could always be worse. I grew up in violence and feeling scared all the time. At least I'm not in that situation now. I may be rich, I may not always feel good, my dream of raising a child with both of his parents in a happy family got ripped out from under me, there are a lot of stresses in life...but thank God I don't have to live with someone beating the hell out of me and stalking me no matter where I hide. I guess it's true that someone always has it worse. I'm thankful that I don't have to be scared for the safety of my son and for my self. And I'm thankful to have someone like Scott in my life and the friends I have.

Love,
Sandy
