Hi Francie....I understand what you are going through. I am a manager of a medical laboratory, and I have one employee who thinks we "owe" him this job. I manage 4 employees, and I use the word "manage" lightly, cause I know that I have the title, but I have no power to do anything about anything.

Anyway, one of my fulltime employees is leaving, and I have started interviewing new candidates for the position. This guy has already gone around the clinic saying he is a shoe in for the job. HA!!!! He is only a temporary employee, and I owe him nothing. His job performance is mediocre at best, and his arrogance is going to prevent him from getting this job, and learning that you must "earn" your position in any corporation, and that no one is indispensable.

Do what you have to do to keep your business afloat Francie. You are the co-owner, so what you say goes. Perhaps the guy with the toilet cleaner should be made to take a run to the grocery store to pick some up??? Perhaps then he would know where it is!!!! LOL
