Well......that was a great story! I've seen people wade in.......before.......and yes,.....brr.......chilly! I know...on the beaches, sometimes, people.....surf.....fish. They just wade in the water, as you said, and fish......! I've seen people do it....but the water.....is much warmer......and......the only problem, you can't do it, during.....big waves......LOL! But....that is a great story you've just shared. I agree, its' hard to get up so early, and I'm not.....much on getting up, unless it would be for fishing! LOL! Anyway, we don't have a boat, we just fish off the docks or shore.

I agree....its' nice, the big boats and all.....but not neccessary. We used to fish, off the banks.....with soem friends.....and....catch crappie.....(fish)--or crappy, and blue gill......in Ohio. That was great fun, the only problem were ticks and jiggers....and getting fouled lines into the trees. Me and hubbbie, lived off the fish we caught, cause we didn't have money for ......(food )--all the time. We ate simple meals of fish, rice, peas, and that sort of thing. So, literally, God provided. When the fish.....were hot......and biting.!! We'd reel in.....50..at a time. I helped skin and.....do all that stuff. I loved the fish so much, I had to help out....LOL! It was too much work for one person. We'd put the fish.....so many in freezer bags....at a time....and those were our meals.....besides hamburgers. To this day, I remember those meals....and they were still the best tasting fish, I ever had!

After awhile, hubby bought us waders, and we tried for trout...in the....different waters...where his friend discovered....(we thought rainbow trout!). Later, we found out, they were.....(Goldenseal...suckers). LOL! But, we thought they were trout and ate them with zeal!! Later, we actually caught a real rainbow trout, and I thought it was the prettiest fish, I ever saw!! They hit hard and fast....and sometimes, we lost......a great deal of them! LOL! I couldn't figure out, what kind of fish it was?! Then we took it to the......(bait)-shop and he told us, they were the real rainbow trout! Duh? LOL! But we had fun.......taking turns, pulling......a small raft......behind us,.....pulling the boat...up-stream....and fishing. Hence, the waders. On the hot , hot days........I'd take them off, and put my feet in the water....and sometimes, we saw beautiful....large.....bucks....in the woods, or rare birds.

I was in good shape then too.......! It frustrated me to no end.....cause my husband, said, if you want to fish, you have to.....pull your weight around here! So, I did....and after awhile, I got to be pretty good......! Plus, it did wonders for my thighs! I lost alot of weight then. After, the day's fishing, we jumped in the raft, and floated back down-stream......to our car. It was fun, and....I'd get so sleepy on the way..back.....just enjoying the weather.....and view. Then it when the day's end, if we were lucky or not......(fishing)--it was time to go home, and have a beer....and share the adventures. We took our kids.....once or twice to Ohio, and.....we camped nearby and took them down the same rivers. It was fun....but now, I'm older, and I doubt.....I could make the hike upstream.....like I had......back then.

Well, just...reminiscing.....as well......Gem
