The aquifer in San Antonio is being depleted faster than it can recover. I think the answer, at least for the US, will lie in higher usage prices, better recycling methods, conscious conservation....I know to alot of people it just evaporates and then comes right back down. But theres too much in usage obviously or there wouldn't be the problems that we're seeing now.

If I were starting my career over, I think I would become a chemical engineer and specialize in water treatment. Won't be a job shortage there, I think.
